So often a photographer isn't even considered until the question, "how cheap are they?" is answered. It breaks my heart that this is how so many people go about choosing one of the most crucial pieces of the biggest day of their life. The choice of your wedding photographer should be so much more than how cheap the person is...cheap doesn't last forever. And honestly, if cheap is what you are looking for, we recommend that you look elsewhere.

If pictures and having your wedding captured in a way that makes you jump up and down when you see the final photos is important to you, then invest. Uncle Bob may have a nice camera and you could ask him to shoot the biggest day of your life, but does he have back-ups incase it breaks? Does he know what to do in low-light settings? Is he capable of keeping things running smoothly? Does he care about all the details that went into your day and should be forever remembered? Probably not.

I hear all too often couples tell me that they wish they would have invested more into their wedding photos. Don't be one of them! And just incase I haven't gotten my point across :), I've included part of an article I read in Bridal Source Magazine, 2008.

That question does not align itself with expectations of finding an out-of-this-universe, sensational photographer. A better question (or series of questions) would be:
How important is it to have the Big Day preserved for the rest of our lives?
How much can we invest in the one thing that will never let us forget the biggest kiss of our lives?
How good a photographer can we hire?
After all, what happens to the rest of the day? Flowers wilt. Cake and champagne disappears. The grooms tuxedo will go back to the shop. The brides veil likely wont blend with dress code at the office. But photographs...
